Trinity Logistics announces  top personnel  transitions

Trinity Logistics, Seaford recently transitioned into a Team Member Owned Company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan, announced additional succession changes in key leadership roles.

Billy Banning has moved from Senior Vice President of the company’s Agent Division to President, with direct responsibility of all of Trinity’s Profit Centers, Business Development, and continued oversight of the Agent Division.

Sarah Ruffcorn is transitioning to Chief Operating Officer, with oversight of Trinity’s five Regional Service Centers and Design Solutions Team.

 Shirazi joins Cardno, Inc

Cardno, Inc.,  announced that Yosef Shirazi has joined the firm as a Project Economist in the company’s Wilmington, DE, USA office. 

Shirazi has broad knowledge of cost-benefit analysis, applied econometrics, and experimental economics. His extensive areas of research include ecosystem services, energy optimizations, electric vehicles, and vehicle-to-grid systems. He will assist the company by constructing analysis and evaluations on environmental projects, studies, and assessments.

He has a master’s degree in marine science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and is pursuing a PhD in marine science and policy from the University of Delaware.  

 Diamond State Financial representative earns designation

 Bryan Radcliff of Diamond State Financial Group has earned the Certified Financial Planner certification. The CFP certification is awarded to experienced candidates who complete a prescribed program of study and a 6-hour comprehensive exam, and fulfill certain ethical and professional experience requirements. Certificants receive training in financial planning; more specifically, income tax, cash flow, retirement, estate and investment planning.

 Radcliff graduated from the University of Delaware’s Lerner College of Business and Economics, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and minor in Economics.  He is a member of the Delaware Chapter of the National Society of Collegiate. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.

 Paregian joins Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation

Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation has announced the appointment of Michael G. Paregian, CFP effective July 5. 

Paregian has more than 20 years of progressive experience in the financial industry. He joins Lau Associates from the Vanguard Group, where he served as Senior Financial Advisor, working with high net worth families, providing wealth management advice. He also previously served as a Financial and Investment Specialist at Tycor Benefit Administrators.

Paregian earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland and received his CFP certification in 2008.

Topal  joins Delaware Office of Highway Safety

The Delaware Office of Highway Safety recently hired Mitch Topal  as their Marketing and Communications Specialist. In his new role, he will act as public information officer and will head all marketing and communication efforts for the agency’s many safe driving initiatives. Topal has received numerous state and national awards for excellence in writing and media work. He is Vice President of the Delaware Press Association.

OperaDelaware appointments

OperaDelaware announced  the appointment of a new Music Director, a new Chorus Master and Principal Pianist, and a promotion on its administrative staff. 

Maestro Anthony Barrese will assume the role of Music Director on Sept. 1, 2017. Barrese has conducted productions with the company for the past three seasons. Barrese, who also serves as the Artistic Director of Opera Southwest in Albuquerque, NM, is a highly sought-after guest conductor with opera companies across the country and the world.

Aurelien Eulert has been appointed OperaDelaware’s Chorus Master and Principal Pianist. Hailing from Alsace, France, Eulert made his US-house debut in 2014 with Palm Beach Opera and head coach for the Young Artist Program. He served on the music staff of USC Thornton Opera and the UCLA Alpert School of Music, and was the musical director of the Chamber Opera of USC (2008-13). He holds degrees from the Conservatoire National de Strasbourg, Syracuse University, and the University of Southern California.

Brenton O’Hara has been promoted to the role of Operations Manager, where he will oversee many aspects of OperaDelaware’s day-to-day operations, including database and facilities management, board communications, contracting, and more.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach,  Realtors, Smyrna Office, welcomed Megan Vannoy as a sales associate. Vannoy is a member of New Castle County Board of  Realtors.
