Brandywine Valley Career Transitions announced it is  supporting  people who are experiencing a career transition – people who are between jobs, considering a job change, etc. – by teaching them the skills needed to find their next job.

The group focuses on educating participants in:

  •   Resume building / fine-tuning
  •   LinkedIn
  •   Interviewing skills
  •   Networking
  •   Job-finding strategy

There is no cost to participate in this group and it is open to anyone in the community. This is not a job placement service. Participants are expected to contribute to their success while getting guidance and education from the group’s leaders.

Brandywine Career Transitions meets twice a month, on the second and fourth Mondays, at 6 p.m. at Brandywine Valley Baptist Church at 7 Mt. Lebanon Road, Wilmington.

The next meeting is on Monday, Sept. 11, 2017 at 6 p.m.
On the fourth Monday of the month there is a guest speaker who shares about his/her experience with a career transition, insights about the job market or insights about the industry in which he/she works.
