“We continue to travel the state and talk to Delawareans about our economy, how we can support small businesses and entrepreneurs, promote innovation, and work together to drive growth and create good-paying jobs,” said  Carney. “Making sure our economy works for all Delawareans remains our top priority.”

The small business roundtable, hosted by Delaware House Majority Leader Valerie Longhurst, is the fifth listening session on the Jobs & Economy Tour and will allow the Governor to hear thoughts and ideas from small business owners in and around Delaware City.

Carney will later join Wilmington Mayor Mike Purzycki and Secretary Patrice Gilliam-Johnson at the launch of the Department of Labor’s mobile jobs unit in Wilmington.
