“We know that our customers are hungry for ways they can better manage their health and wellbeing,” said Dr. Jose Quesada, chief medical officer, Cigna Global Health Benefits. “And while there are countless mobile apps available that encourage and support changes in behavior, none offer the range of capabilities as this app does. We developed this app to marry what we know our customers are looking for with the tools that we know patients need to improve their health.”

Quesada added, “This app provides convenient access to doctors and counselors, as well as features that empower users to manage their specific conditions. A person’s health status can change daily, so having the convenience of a mobile app that caters to varying levels of health and wellness needs – whenever one might need and wherever one might be – is essential.”

The app is designed to support an individual’s personal health and wellbeing anywhere in the world, which is especially important for individuals who are on assignment for business, either in the U.S. or abroad.

“Imagine the peace of mind it brings to someone who is on assignment in a foreign country and unsure of where to access medical care for a sick child, to be able to connect with a doctor who’s fluent in the client’s native language face-to-face,” said Ann Asbaty, president, Cigna GHB North America. “No app on the market offers this depth of features in a format that’s accessible anytime and anywhere.”

The standalone app is available on the Apple App Store  or Google Play, and expands Cigna GHB’s digital products.
