SoDel partners with Rehoboth brewer
SoDel Concepts, a coastal Delaware hospitality group, and Revelation Craft Brewery, which opened last year in Rehoboth Beach near the Junction and Breakwater Trail, recently partnered to make SoDel SMASH, a single-malt, single-hop beer available at all nine SoDel Concepts restaurants.
Matt Patton, a director of operations for SoDel Concepts, worked with Patrick Staggs, Revelation’s brewer, to create the beer, which is made with Maris Otter malt and Green Bullet hops.
“We’re really excited about SoDel SMASH, which complements the cuisine in all our restaurants,” said Patton.“It’s a clean, beautiful, simple brew.”
SoDel SMASH is on draft at all the restaurants except for Lupo Italian Kitchen in Rehoboth Beach and Matt’s Fish Camp in Bethany Beach, where it’s sold in bottles.
Patton said he is looking forward to another collaboration with Revelation. “They make exceptional beer, and they’re fun to work with.” SoDel Concepts also has a proprietary line of artisanal sodas.
