Movies on Tap beer and film series to screen Office Space

Premier Wine & Spirits will  host its 11th “Movies on Tap” event with Dew Point Brewing Co.  with a  screening  of  Office Space.

The screening,  benefitting the Food Bank of Delaware on Friday,  March 31st at 6:30 p.m. Since April 2016, “Movies on Tap” has helped raise over $20,000 for local non-profit organizations.

Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with a local brewer; sample and learn about their beer, and then watch a classic film. Tickets cost $20 which includes beer samples, movie, and popcorn with 99 percent  of proceeds benefiting the brewer’s charity of choice. In 2017, the Movies on Tap Series expects to raise $35,000 for local non-profit organizations.

Penn Cinema is one of the few theaters  in the state to carry its own liquor license. “We realized there was a really unique opportunity to bring the brewing industry and movie industry together – while supporting the community we all live, work and play in together”, said Ryan Kennedy, director of marketing for Premier Wine & Spirits.

Office Space movie themed contests will also take place including a “Fax Machine Piñata, inspired by the movie’s most popular scene and a “Who has the most flair?” contest.
