Finance council approves state financial package for composites maker

The Delaware Council on Development Finance approved a $1.24 million financial package for M Cubed Technologies, Newark.

Mc Cubed, currently located at 1 Tralee Industrial Park, requested a grant package based on retaining 62 current jobs, the creation of an additional 155 new positions and a new facility for the company.

M Cubed manufactures ceramic composites.

The council also approved:

  • A modification for a 500,000 leasehold improvement loan on a vacant industrial building at 108 Park Ave. in Seaford. The property is currently listed as being for sale.
  • A loan modification for Nanticoke Memorial Hospital for $5,989,729. The loan proceeds were used towards the construction of a medical office building as well as working capital.

The council makes recommendations to the Director of the Delaware Economic Development Office.
