Duffield Associates acquires Atlantic Hydrologic

Regional consulting engineering and science firm, Duffield Associates, Inc. announced the acquisition of  Atlantic Hydrologic, Inc., Newark.

Key staff joining Duffield from Atlantic Hydrologic are Steven (Steve) Cahill, P.G. and Ralph Downard, CPSS.

Cahill  has more than  30 years of experience in groundwater studies related to water resource protection, water supply, wastewater systems, and environmental remediation.  He also has extensive experience in tank management, the remediation of petroleum releases, and environmental assessments.

Ralph Downard has certifications and licenses in wetland science, soil science and forestry with over 30 years of professional experience in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. His project experience includes wetland delineation, permitting, and mitigation; soil testing for the stormwater, water resource, and on-site wastewater treatment and disposal; and forest stand delineations and mitigation. Steve and Ralph are both former employees of Duffield.

Duffield provides consulting in civil engineering, water and natural resources, environmental services, geotechnical engineering, water and wastewater engineering, coastal/waterfront engineering, structural engineering and construction review and testing services. Duffield’s offices are located in Wilmington, Dover and Georgetown, DE; Philadelphia and Carlisle, PA; Bel Air, MD; and Deptford and Cape May, NJ.
