The Bayhealth Foundation and Dover Motorsports Inc. once again collaborated to host the 31st annual Charitable Golf Tournament to the medical center. The 2016 tournament was held at Wild Quail Golf and Country Club in Wyoming.
Foundation Director of Development, Chuck Desch, said $41,451 net proceeds were raised from the event. “We are extremely grateful to all the participants who attended the Golf Tournament at Wild Quail Country Club to support the Bayhealth Foundation and the work we do at Bayhealth,” he said. “Special thanks to everyone at Dover Motorsports for their partnership in making the 31st Annual Bayhealth Dover Motorsports Charitable Golf Tournament a success”
The health care system provides care to the NASCAR community on race weekends; assisting visitors, race teams and drivers that come to Dover over the course of the three-day event. The infield care center inside Turn 4 and the fan care center outside of Gate 1 at Dover International Speedway are staffed by the medical center.
