SVN | Miller Commercial Real Estate Senior Advisors Henry Hanna and Wesley Cox recently brokered the recent sale of the Former ES Steel property in Federalsburg, MD to a Delmar, DE company.
The 96,000 square foot manufacturing facility sits on 10 acres within the Frank Adams Industrial Park. Crystal Steel Fabricators purchased the property with plans to expand their business into Maryland. Crystal plans to invest more than $4 million dollars into the facility and employ 126.
The property was listed for $2.4 million. SVN | Miller Commercial represented both the seller and buyer in this transaction and worked closely with local and state officials, notably Angela Visintainer with the Caroline County Economic Development Office. In addition to Visintainer help, the Maryland Department of Commerce was instrumental in completing the deal, a release stated.
Henry Hanna said, “This deal will translate into over 100 new jobs in Caroline County and represents a strong team effort. With our country having a strong focus on job creation, this is a great win for Caroline County.”
