Executives at Real Hospitality Group (RHG) have expanded the portfolio with the new development projects slated to open in the last quarter of this year.

The company increased its footprint earlier this year, with additions of new lifestyle brands that included the Hotel Shocard Times Square and a lifestyle boutique hotel project in Manhattan’s Midtown South area.

Real’s portfolio includes the Bethany Beach Ocean Suites and Crowne Plaza, Wilmington North.

The company, based in Ocean City, MD,  is preparing for the opening of eight new projects in New York, Miami and the Mid-Atlantic resort area.

“The investment we made in the early stages of development with our owners on these projects are continuing our commitment to delivering top-quality results for our owner groups,” said Ben Seidel, president and CEO, Real Hospitality Group.

Hotel projects include:

Dual Brand Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites – Miami Dolphin Mall – opened September 28. This 232-room, 11-story tower is host to a 132-room Hilton Garden Inn and 100-room Homewood Suites by Hilton. Bar Flamenco Lounge and Grille serves flavors from the local food scene. With 5,500 sq. ft. of meeting space, outdoor pool and fitness center, the two hotels offer distinct lobbies, and a combination of texture and style indicative of their Miami roots.

Aloft Long Island City, New York – set to open in November. The 185-room tower is the company’s fourth Aloft brand.

Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Midtown West – slated to open in November. This 150-room hotel is located at the corner of 35th St. and 10th Ave., in the heart of the new Hudson Yards development project.

Hyatt House Manhattan Chelsea – set to open in December. The 150-room hotel is the first Hyatt House brand in New York City, and the first in an urban destination market.

Hotel RL, New York, Brooklyn – slated to open in November. The 70-room hotel is located in the Bed-Stuy neighborhood of Brooklyn, and the first Hotel RL by Red Lion Hotels in the market.

Fairfield Inn Ocean City, MD – set to open in December. The 125-room hotel is centrally located in Ocean City, MD, and a first for the brand in this destination.

Fairfield Inn North Bergen NJ – opening later this year. This marks the 15th Marriott brand launched by the team at RHG.

“Our company culture continues to create value for our owners, and with strong brand relationships, we can execute the pre-opening critical actions and implement our systems for a long-term, asset-value increase,” said Seidel. “Launching these locations sets the tone for the next phase of growth in 2017, with new channels of business relationships and expansion into new markets that continue targeting long-range growth and asset management.”
