The Central Delaware Chamber of Commerce joined Tractor Supply for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate their membership with the CDCC and the grand opening of their Smyrna, Delaware location, located at 1300 S. DuPont Blvd.
The Smyrna store will be the fifth location in Delaware for Tractor Supply which specializes in products for farmers and ranchers and others who enjoy the rural lifestyle, as well as tradesmen and small businesses.
The company sells merchandise for raising horses, livestock and pets including feeds, fencing and pens, along with hardware, truck and towing products, tools, lawn and garden items, power equipment, gifts and toys. The company also sells clothing and footwear for the entire family for work and recreational uses.
“Tractor Supply looks forward to being a member of the Smyrna community,” said District Manager Alex Strange. “Smyrna is a great fit for Tractor Supply due to the horse owners and part-time and hobby farmers in the area. Many of our new customers are pleasantly surprised by our unique mix of product offerings.”
The Smyrna location will employ an estimated 15 full-time and part-time workers, Strange said. The store is about 19,000 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.
