Small Business ChamberThe Delaware Small Business Chamber  and Creative Travel are  moving to  separate locations  late this month.

Creative Travel, Inc, established in 1994, has been renting desk space to the Delaware Small Business Chamber for  nearly five years. At the time,  it made sense to have the two different businesses together since they have both been founded by Bob Older.

Over the last few years, however, both Creative Travel, Inc. and the Delaware Small Business Chamber have grown, leading to the need for more space.

Delaware Small Business Chamber has seen their growth by serving the small business community. Their focus is on businesses with 0 to 100 employees and only the larger companies that purchase products and services from those small businesses.

The two companies will be moving to a bigger location at Liberty Plaza/Possum Park Shopping Center on Kirkwood  Highway east of Newark. Creative and the Small Business Chamber had been located in the Astro Plaza shopping center off Kirkwood Highway.

The chamber and Creative Travel will now have separate locations next door to each other- more than doubling their existing space.

“I have always said that we are proud to be the only chamber, probably in the world, to turn down members if the company has a bad reputation or does not support our local small business community, we don’t want them as members,” Older stated.

The new chamber office will have an area for meetings/seminars that will also be available for a  half or full day. The office will also have a desk space that can be rented by the hour or day for people that just need space to work or meet with clients.
