Building automation and energy services provider Albireo Energy, LLC has added Newark, Del.-based Advanced Power Control, Inc. and Energy Systems Technologies, Inc. to its holdings.
Financial terms were not disclosed. Albireo Energy is based in Edison, NJ.
The acquisitions will bolster Albireo Energy’s geographic presence in the Mid-Atlantic region, while enhancing its capabilities in lighting controls, demand response, and building analytics. APC founder Paul Czerwin will continue to run day-to-day operations of the two companies as a division of Albireo Energy.
Advanced provides turnkey building automation systems, lighting controls, metering, fault detection and diagnostics (FDD), and energy services to building owners throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Founded in 1980, APC has installed and maintained systems in thousands of buildings that include universities, military facilities, health care institutions, and commercial buildings.
EST is a product distributor and technology consultant specializing in energy efficiency and controls for electrical and automation systems targeting commercial buildings.
