Tidewater Utilities, Inc. announced that its Southern Sussex District operators were recognized for outstanding teamwork and cooperation within the water/wastewater profession at Delaware Technical Community College’s Water/Wastewater Professionals Annual Award Ceremony last month.
The team was commended for the recent upgrades completed within the Southern Shores Water Treatment Plant, which is one of five distribution entry points of Tidewater’s Bethany Bay Pumping District that primarily serves the Sea Colony resort area. Also, the team was awarded Delaware’s 2015 Best Tasting Water Award by the Delaware Rural Water Association for the water produced from this facility.
