Store-FrontThe Fresh Market, Inc. will open its first upscale grocery store in Delaware in Rehoboth Beach.

The  grocer will be located in the new Rehoboth Gateway retail development, at the intersection of Country Club Road and Route One (Coastal Highway)

The location will serve an affluent area that sees heavy tourist traffic during the summer months.

“We are excited to open our new store in Rehoboth Beach and to expand our reach in Delaware,” said Rick Anicetti, the company’s CEO  “We look forward to introducing The Fresh Market’s concept of quality, great tasting food, excellent customer service and a distinctive atmosphere to an expanded customer base, and we look forward to offering neighboring communities an inspiring new food shopping experience.”

“The Fresh Market’s atmosphere is truly unique,” says Anicetti. “Our customers enjoy shopping in an environment that appeals to all the senses, where the smell of freshly brewed coffee and bread right out of the oven, the sound of relaxing music, soft lighting, and the ability to select and taste fresh, high-quality products all work together to create a place where customers are inspired to make every meal extraordinary.”
