Kind to Kids Foundation will celebrate  five years of service of helping Delaware’s children in need and work with the Delaware community – at their 5th annual Spring Celebration Awards, tonight at the Hotel du Pont Gold Ballroom.

The Spring Celebration Breakfast supports Kind to Kids’ services for Delaware’s children in foster care, poverty, and at-risk. This year’s keynote speaker is U.S. Senator Christopher Coons, who will be introduced by Governor Jack Markell.

This year’s Community Leader Award will be presented to Susan Leath, President and Publisher of the News Journal to honor her efforts to champion issues that affect Delawareans and Delaware’s children in need. Bank of America will be honored with the Corporate Service Award for their commitment to the community and the Rising Star Award will be to Anthony Graham, a young adult who persevered to overcome great obstacles, and now helps others.

This inspiring event sells out every year as legislators, businesses, corporations, and community comes together to celebrate the organization. Tickets can be purchased for $40 per person or $300 for a table of eight.
