Eckert Seamans announced Justin M. Forcier joined its Wilmington office as an associate in the firm’s Litigation Division.
He focuses his practice on corporate and commercial litigation matters, including the defense of stockholder class and derivative actions, breaches of fiduciary duties, corporate governance, and contract disputes.
Before joining the firm, Forcier served as a law clerk to t Richard R. Cooch at the Superior Court of the State of Delaware, as a judicial extern for Thomas L. Ambro at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and as a judicial intern for M. Jane Brady at the Superior Court of Delaware. He was also a legal intern in the Motions and Appeals Division of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office in New Jersey.
Forcier is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, American Bar Association, and the Richard S. Rodney American Inn of Court. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2015, where he served as manuscript editor of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, president of Transactional Law Honor Society, and vice president of Phi Delta Phi. He earned his B.A. from Rutgers University in 2012.
