Abigail M. LeGrow was formally sworn in for her first term as Judge of the Superior Court of Delaware on Friday.
Superior Court President Judge Jan R. Jurden welcomed the audience to the investiture and Delaware Supreme Court Chief Justice Leo E. Strine, Jr. administered the Oath of Office as Judge LeGrow’s husband, Brian, held the Bible.
LeGrow served as a Master in the Court of Chancery from October 2011 until her appointment to the Superior Court. Before joining the Court of Chancery, Judge LeGrow was an associate in the corporate group of Potter Anderson & Corroon LLP and a judicial law clerk to Jack B. Jacobs of the Delaware Supreme Court.
She graduated summa cum laude from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law in 2004 where she was the valedictorian of her class and the editor of the Penn State Law Review. Judge LeGrow received her B.A. in Political Science from Susquehanna University.
Judge LeGrow lives in Wilmington with her husband and two children.
