A small shopping center in Claymont has been sold.
Commercial real estate firm CBRE, Inc. brokered the sale of Grubbs Landing, a ±12,375 square foot shopping strip center located at 2710 Philadelphia Pike. George Schmitt of CBRE represented the seller, LB Properties, LLC.
The renovated property, located along the main shopping corridor in Claymont, marks a significant enhancement to the Claymont Renaissance Development revitalization. The buyer was not identified.
“These renovations developed by LB Properties gave this property great curb appeal, which facilitated securing an attractive offer,” said Schmitt, First vice president with CBRE’s Wayne, PA office. “It is an ideally located strip shopping center, just off of I-95 and a short drive from Darley Green, the new 67-acre residential development. The center has strong tenants and a built-in customer base in the Claymont region.”
Grubbs Landing is anchored by Grubbs Pharmacy and also includes Advance America, Alpha Medical Centers, Signature One Hair & Nail Salon, and Delaware Vapor.
