The Chemours Company, on Wednesday, celebrated its first day as an independent company at our headquarters in Wilmington, and its many locations around the globe.
The festivities in Wilmington ended with the attached group photo of Chemours employees on Rodney Square celebrating the first day of Chemours independence with balloons and cupcakes in Chemours colors.
The company was spun off from DuPont Co. Its stock is publicly traded on the NYSE.
The company is currently headquartered in downtown Wilmington.
