Strauss to keynote Gilman Superstars awards luncheon

StraussSmall  business expert Steven D. Strauss will deliver keynote remarks at the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce’s 2014 Marvin S. Gilman Superstars in Business Awards luncheon.

The ceremony, which will take place November 12  at the Hotel duPont’s Gold Ballroom, honors businesses and nonprofit organizations for their outstanding achievements and model approaches to business and management.

Strauss graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He then went on to earn his Master’s degree in Public Policy Analysis from Claremont Graduate University, and a Law degree from the University of the Pacific – McGeorge School of Law.

Since then, Strauss has become a best-selling author of 16 books, including The Small Business Bible, and his latest book, Planet Entrepreneur. He is a prominent contributor to SCORE, The Huffington Post, ABC News, and is the senior  USA Today  small business columnist, writing one of the longest-running and most highly syndicated business columns in the world, Ask an Expert.

He also serves as the lead columnist and spokesperson for Bank of America’s Small Business Community, and sits on the board of the World Entrepreneurship Forum in France. In addition, Strauss is the Founder and President of his own company, The Strauss Group, which creates business content for everyone from Fortune 100 companies to small chambers of commerce.

Strauss speaks all over the world about emerging trends and small business strategies, and he often appears on television shows such as CNN, CNBC, Bloomberg Television, “The O’Reilly Factor,” and other shows.
