Fire Marshal’s office releases photos of person near scene of Fairway Inn topless bar fire

[Not a valid template]The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is seeking information on an individual caught on  camera at about the time of the fire  that destroyed the Fairways Inn topless bar near Smyrna. The office released images of the individual on Monday.

The fire broke out around 5 a.m., Thursday, at  club on DuPont  Parkway.

The Citizens Hose Company arrived on the scene with flames shooting from the two-story building. The business was closed when the fire was discovered. The bar  is near Garrison’s Lake.

The blaze, which caused an estimated $400,000 in damage, remains under investigation by the state Fire Marshal’s Office. No injuries were reported.

State fire investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individual or clothing.  The photographs were taken from security surveillance cameras at the bar just prior to the discovery of the fire.
