Dominos robbed in Newark

Newark Police are investigating a robbery  early Friday morning at the Dominos Pizza Store, 232 East Cleveland Ave., Newark.

Police said a man entered the store through the front door, presented a handgun and demanded cash from the store employees. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of currency and fled the store in an unknown direction. The store employees were not injured during the incident.

Newark Police went  to the scene and, with the assistance of a UD Police Department canine team, conducted a canine track for the suspect, but he was not located.

The suspect is described at 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, wearing a black jacket, black pants, black cap, black gloves and gray sneakers, with lime green accents. The suspect also wore a black mask concealing his face.
