Rehoboth Beach man jailed on charges of running up $2,500 in charges on grandmother’s credit card

Delaware State Police have arrested a Rehoboth Beach man, 24,  in connection with the theft of  his grandmother’s credit card.

 Maxwell J. Schenck charged with for 61 counts of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card after he made purchases totaling more than $2,500.00. 

Schenck, who was living with his grandmother, age 82 ­at the time of the theft, made purchases throughout the Rehoboth area including Wal-Mart, Safeway, Royal Farms, and Ruby Tuesday.

He was arrested after troopers learned he staying at a home in Lewes and his being held in lieu of a $126,000 bond.
