Franklin bust recovered when woman gets off bus in Elkton: Patch

A Philadelphia woman has been arrested after she got off a bus near the Delaware line with a bust of founding father Benjamin Franklin.

Officers reported that the arrest came in Elkton, Md. on Friday.

The statue was reported stolen from a home in Philadelphia’s Main Line in late August.  The bust was reportedly valued in the millions of dollars. The suspect was quickly identified, but had remained at large.
