2 arrested in Newark graffiti investigation

Two Newark men have been arrested by Newark Police in connection with graffiti vandalism on North Chapel Street, East Main Street and South College Avenue.

After ongoing investigations by the Newark Police Department Street Crimes Unit, Joshua Dominelli, 21, and Tyler Mullen, 20, were each charged with two counts of graffiti and two counts of possession of graffiti implements.

Both were arrested and released pending future court appearances.

In the last two years, the Newark Police Department has arrested 29 individuals for graffiti offenses.
