Tickets are now being offered for the Taste of Newark in late September.
The annual event includes offerings from more than 45 Newark restaurants, as well as offerings from area wine distributors.
Taste of Newark features an “Iron Chef” style Battle of the Chefs, now in its fourth year.
The 9th Annual Taste of Newark is scheduled for September 30th from noon to 3 p.m. on the Old College Lawn at the University of Delaware. Bad weather site is at University of Delaware’s Clayton Hall.
The event will host more than 1,000 persons. Each person attending will receive a commemorative wine glass. Tickets are $45 each before the event and $60 at the door.
