Newark Police arrested, Dexter Bland, 44, of New Castle, in connection with the robbery the PNC Bank branch in the Newark Shopping Center near Main Street at about 9 a.m. on Aug. 1. A release from the department said many tips were received, following the publication of photos of the suspect wearing a fedora and sport coat who made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

However, Bland made the job easier for police when he walked into Alderman Court 40 on Thursday to ask about unpaid traffic tickets.
He is now being held on $25,000 bail at Howard Young Correctional Institute, Wilmington.
