MFGpartners.net has expanded to Delaware.

As part of the expansion, the site approved 26 additional machine shops specializing in small metal parts, mold making, custom molded plastic parts, metalworking, machining and plastic fabrication. The 26 vendors serve businesses in Dover, Wilmington, Seaford, Milford, Newark, Middletown, Smyrna, Elsmere, Georgetown and other areas.

According to Keith Stevens, spokesman for the American Machine Shops Network, the trade association promotes custom manufacturers with an average 30 years or more of experience in fabrication. Stevens said members of AMSN are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, software and tools, and utilize lean manufacturing techniques which enables the shops to complete jobs in a matter of days, and often within the same day, depending on the requirement, material and process.

“It’s not commonly known that the Diamond State is home to a number of world class machine shops and contract manufacturers specializing in all forms of made-to-order parts from single pieces to large production runs,” said Stevens, he said. “Located near Metropolitan Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington, the state of Delaware is ideally located to service businesses of all sizes from small mom and pop establishments to large Fortune 100 firms in need of machining, tooling, fabricating, machined products and mold making services.”

Delaware companies in need of small metal parts, plastic fabrication and molding services can now submit an RFQ to U.S. machine shops at http://www.MFGpartners.net/rfq.html
