Iron Hill Brewery and Restaurant has again won the title of Best Small Brewpub of the Year at the Craft Brewers Conference and World Beer Cup in San Diego.
Iron Hill was founded in Newark, Del. and carries the name of a local landmark that once had small iron mines. Its careful expansion, at first focused, on downtowns of communities like West Chester and Media, Pa. It has since seen success by opening locations in other areas, such as Wilmington’s riverfront.
Iron Hill also stayed with a formula of offering moderately upscale dining and having only its own brews on tap.Iron Hill now has locations in Delaware, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
